Oxfordshire residents are illustrating what it's like to live in Oxfordshire by taking part in The Vale Housing Association's Art Competition.
The competition, connected to the theme "Living in Oxfordshire", was launched last month and will run until the end of May. The Association is offering £20 worth of vouchers for the best piece of artwork it receives and entries may also be featured in the Association's future publications.
Emily Griffith, Communications and Research Manager for The Vale Housing Association, explains: The competition has sparked a lot of interest so far. Entries have depicted Oxfordshire's wildlife, its contrasting buildings and unique history. The art competition is enabling local people to express what they think is special about the area in which they live and work.
If you have painted a picture or taken a photograph that you think illustrates an aspect of Oxfordshire and would like to enter the competition, please contact Emily Griffith on (01235) 536001 or send your work, along with your full name, address and telephone number to: The Vale Housing Association, The Old Maltings, Vineyard, Abingdon, Oxon, OX14 3UG. All entries must be received by Friday 24th May and the Association can guarantee the safe return of any artwork you send in.
