How he got there: After a BSc degree in Land Economy at the University of Science and Technology, he was appointed as an Assistant Valuer and then Valuer with London Borough of Haringey where he trained and achieved membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. With an MSc in Property Development and Management from the University of East London, he spent a short period in private practice and joined Chiltern Hundreds Housing Association initially as a Valuation and Estates Manager and then Development Manager in the early part of 1995.
