If you wish to apply for housing in this area you need to join the waiting list managed by the relevant District Council. We operate in Oxfordshire and Brackley, with the majority of our housing being in the Vale District Council area.
Although the Councils do not own or manage any permanent housing, they do hold the waiting list for all social housing in that area including our own.
All councils operate housing registers. All Oxon councils (except West) have a choice-based lettings scheme where applicants can bid for advertised homes, which can be found on their website (see below) or at their offices.
Other District Councils in Oxfordshire currently nominate people to us who have the highest points for their need. If a property comes up in the area you want, and you are the person with the most points, you will be nominated to that property.
The Vale Housing Association does manage a waiting list for sheltered accommodation with scheme manager support in the Vale of White Horse District. Anyone over 60 is able to join this list.
