Overall scope and responsibility for the EMS (CP1:V10:04/04/2008)
- The Vale Housing Association is a social landlord providing, developing and managing affordable housing.
- The Communications & Research Assistant is responsible for co-ordinating the EMS in accordance with ISO14001.
- The Board of Management, through the Managing Director, has overall responsibility for approving the implementation of the EMS.
- The EMS was implemented on 1 April 1998.
Scope
Our Environmental Management System applies to all our activities including those:
- On our four main office sites
- In sheltered housing schemes
- On development and maintenance sites
Where possible we will influence the activities of other organisations we are working with and the people living in our homes.
