Non conformance and corrective / preventative action (CP14:V6:23/02/05)

  • Any Board member, staff or tenant can notify the Communications & Research Assistant if they think some part of the EMS is not working well. A note to this effect will be included in the staff and tenant newsletters once a year.

  • The Communications & Research Assistant will then table the comment and bring it up at the next Green Team meeting. The Green Team will investigate the cause and decide whether any corrective or preventative action is necessary, and act accordingly. The action will be minuted and its effectiveness will be monitored.

  • If an environmental survey needs to be carried out in order to minimise the environmental impact of the Association's work, it is the responsibility of the person who is commissioning the work to organise the survey and notify the Communications and Research Assistant.

  • The Communications and Research Assistant will maintain a list of contacts for organisations that can carry out all types of environmental surveys. 

  • The Communications and Research Assistant will then record and report preventative action, taken by the Association, in the Public Environmental Statement.
