Developing, budgeting for and monitoring the Environmental Programme (CP7:V5:16/10/2007)

• The Green Team will develop and review the Programme, after discussions with staff in their Directorates.
  
  
• At each Green Team meeting progress towards meeting the Programme's objectives and targets will be monitored. They will also be reviewed in the light of changes to legislation, the Association's significant effects, technological advances and the views of interested parties including tenants' forums. (Details of the process to be followed are in the Association's Good Practice Guide, page 15).
  
  
• The Programme will be reviewed on an annual basis before the next year’s budget is set.  Any proposed changes will have to be approved by the Board.  The financial implications can then be taken into consideration when setting the following year’s budget.
  
  
• The review will measure the Association's performance in the light of its objectives. It will also make recommendations for additions to the next year's Programme, and their budgetary implications. The Green Team will pass these recommendations onto the Board for approval. Records held in the Green Team and Board's minutes.
